Before we get started, I'm going to throw down a fact...
The Tucson Police Department, with the help of Tucson's media (whether they knew it or not), took the unintentional shooting of a police officer, by another police officer, and blamed the shooting of that officer on a dead criminal.
If they could pull that off, could they take a proactive police officer and create several investigations, based wholly on lies, to "go after" that officer because they really, really don't like him? We'll get back to that one very soon...
I was recently speaking to a friend about this incident when I was advised to take a good look at what actually happened...
Let me take a second here and say, first and foremost, we are not trying to shame anyone by shedding light on this. I speak from experience when I say that "fog of war" is a very real thing and it is very easy to criticize the actions of others when the critic is not in the arena where the bullets are flying.
The criticism I have if for the Tucson Police Department "leadership" and Tucson's "watchdog" media (HEAVY sarcasm intended).
Since we've established that crazy things DO happen in the fog of war, why would ANY responsible police department allow the unintentional shooting of a police officer, by another police officer, be covered up and then blamed on a dead criminal?
I know I've said a lot, but as usual, I back up what I say with receipts...
As always, I appreciated your readership and I thank you for stopping by.
...But Page 3 Really Grabbed My Attention...
According to this, the bad guy (whose name is not worth repeating), shot Officers Tequida AND Officer Wilfert. Officer Tequida returned fire and killed the bad guy. Evil is punished- I love it!
You can read the whole page but the highlighted section below seems to have confirmed some rumors...
