Here is the case report we promised. We made a request for the Body Worn Camera footage worn by the officers who attempted to "buy meth" from a homeless drug dealer in a tent. We just made a request from the Pima County Attorneys Office for the case disposition for this little caper. When we get this info, you will get it. Legend has it the troubled young lad got a few days in jail for his crime. Again, this guy, who we'll refer to as the worst drug dealer in the world, got a slap on the wrist for selling methamphetamine to police officers in full patrol uniform.
As you read the case report, please remember that there are people out there who truly believe the drug addicted homeless community live in constant fear of police personnel. While that may be true in some situations, a large number of the drug addicted homeless population are out living their best bum life. They are not interested in getting help or kicking their addiction. They just want to get high. They do not care about what they have to do to feed their addiction. They just know they need to feed the addiction. Please keep this in mind as you read what happened in this incident.
This little story occurred on March 29, 2023 at Estevan Park. The incident was documented under Tucson Police Department case number 2303290145.
An officer and a detective, both in full patrol uniform, were walking through the homeless encampment at the park. As they walked by a tent, a voice from inside said "I have meth." One of the FULLY UNIFORMED cops said, "I have $10." Then, believe it or not, a little junkie arm/hand emerged from the tent holding what was presumed to be $10 worth of methamphetamine!! The junkie arm was handcuffed and this sloppy wanna be dope dealer was arrested!
Don't believe us?! We totally get it. We invite you to peruse the case report which is posted below. Hopefully, the camera footage of this edition of World's Dumbest Criminals will get here soon!
We will also be providing some information on this little story. ( Estevan Park Project - Splinter Collective ). Read up and you can learn more about how taxpayers from the City of Tucson paid $75,000.00 to "help" fund this open-air drug market. We also applaud them on their diversity. After all, they didn't let the fact that these potential customers were uniformed police officers!! Yay inclusivity!!
STAY TUNED! MORE IS ON THE WAY!
