Sex Offender Freed by Corrupt Sherrif Nanos's Jail
On August 22, 2023, officers from the Tucson Police Department Operations Division West responded to a 911 call for service at 1920 N 1st Ave. The caller stated a Hispanic male, black clothing, green duffle bag was hitting himself and hiding under vehicles in the parking lot.
It took a few months to get the police report from the Tucson Police Department Records Section, but we finally got it. We redacted some information regarding the reporting party and we posted the report below. Please take a look.
We'll post the report in its entirety after we redact some information. In the meantime, we have posted the narrative of the report written by Officer Jackson and we invite you to take a look.
We're going to point out a few things that we noticed in the report and what we learned when we looked into Damyan the low-life pervert (using public information of course). Let's get started...
-First of all, great job Officer Jackson! He located the low-life pervert and was able to detain him without incident.
-The next thing we'll point out is that fact that this guy had stop and arrests for 3 Investigations involving sex offenses with the Tucson Police Department. This was IN ADDITION TO his felony warrant that was issued for Damyan the low-life pervert. So, let's add these up. Damyan had 4 outstanding sex offenses. We believe 3 of these were "stop and arrests," which means that probable causes existed for the arrest of Damyan, but he was nowhere to be found, so they issue the stop and arrest so he can be arrested by the next officer who contacted him. The felony warrant, in addition to the stop and arrests, tell me that Damyan commits crimes, specifically sex crimes, and then effectively hides or leaves the area. The fact that the Pima County Jail, which is operated by Sheriff Chris Nanos, refused to book this repeat sex offender because of what I will call the BS excuse of Damyan "is high," says a lot about the "leadership" abilities of Sheriff Nanos. Oh yeah, Damyan also had 3 outstanding misdemeanor warrants issued by Tucson City Court but whatever.
-As you look at the booking information for Damyan, you'll notice the booking number 231204015. We'll decipher that number for you. The first 6 numbers are the date. We know that Damyan was finally booked on December 4, 2023. The last 3 numbers are the number of arrestees that are booked in the jail, so Damyan was the 15th arrestee to be booked that day. Here's our point on this one, Officer Jackson caught Damyan the low-life pervert on August 22, 2023. Thanks to Sheriff Nanos and his medical staff at the jail, Damyan was rereleased into the wild that same day. It wasn't until 15 weeks later that he was finally successfully booked into the jail (as of December 24, 2023, Damyan is still in the jail). Our question is how many people were victimized by Damyan the low life pervert in those 15 weeks?
The gang at TucsonsCorruptLeadership.com are not psychiatrists and we don't pretend to be. What we do know about many sex offenders is that they get progressively worse and more dangerous to the public. The fact that the Pima County Jail, which has its own medical unit AT THE JAIL, would reject a dangerous sex offender is absolutely disgusting. Someone should be fired over this.
We have requested the body worn camera footage from this incident and we will post it as soon as we get it.
